Many of us who travel for business can relate to the dread of opening our hotel door to find – dull, uncomfortable and ugly furniture. Most hotel rooms these days include a desk and at least one chair. But often there’s no thought to the functionality or quality of the furniture. Have you ever tried to type on a laptop on a desk whilst sat on a deep back soft armchair whilst straining forward to reach the keys? Hardly what you want whilst you prepare for tomorrow’s important meeting. The problem for many hospitality businesses was a lack of versatile, affordable chairs for bedrooms.
Burgess has Designed the Solution
Our designer Peter Roth, understood what clients in the hospitality industry needed, as well as what hotel customers wanted. And so he set to work to design a new chair. One that would be simple yet elegant, and versatile enough to work in all settings. At Burgess we understand too that our furniture must be reliable and sturdy, to withstand years of use without wearing out the materials.
Now – after years of rigorous designing, testing and our stringent British manufacturing by skilled crafts people – Burgess is pleased to announce our new chair: CasuElle

It is a simple, elegant and versatile chair which will offer our end users a choice of 5 different bases for different effects. The chair is affordable and robust and with the optional wooden base that brings a domestic feel to any bedroom in an instant. Or select the adjustable height castor base – perfect behind a desk, perhaps select the 4-star raised chrome base to use CasuElle as a feature bedroom chair. The choice is yours.
